Power!  It’s What’s For Breakfast.


I am super excited to share this recipe with you guys!  It is so tasty, nutritious and easy to prepare.  There are only a few ingredients, all of which should certainly be in your pantry already.  If they aren’t, go out and stock them posthaste.  I usually make this on the weekends when I have a little bit more time to mess around.  It is also really refreshing when it is hot and you don’t necessarily feel like eating a steaming bowl of oatmeal.  Packed with complex carbohydrates, fiber, tons of vitamins/minerals, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids, this breakfast will get your morning started with a bang.  Possibly your second one of the day?  Ewwww, gross.  ANYWAY, watch the video to see how it’s done.  Without further ado, I give you the recipe for this delicious and power-packed breakfast:


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


This recipe is extremely flexible.  Obviously other nut/seed butters or plant-based milk varieties can be used in place of the ones I listed.  You can add pretty much anything you want to it. You should use this recipe as a template and play around with the flavors.  Here are some suggestions:

OAT MIXTURE or CREAM OPTIONS    

  • Shredded Coconut
  • Raisins or other dried fruit
  • Blueberries or other fresh fruit
  • Vanilla
  • Matcha
  • Cinnamon/other spices
  • Spinach
  • Almonds/Walnuts or other nuts

TOPPINGS

  • Cacao Nibs
  • Shaved dark chocolate
  • Rice or other grain puffs
  • Hemp or other seeds
  • Shredded Coconut
